Stayed here for 17 nights as a group of 8. The hotel were very accommodating throughout our stay and made us feel at home. I recommend this hotel for a short or long stay in Hanoi. Very close to everything you need. Excellent places to eat near by and you can fill up on the delicious breakfast. The staff were so lovely and even taught us useful bits of Vietnamese and spoken exellent english. They arranged a Halong Bay trip for us which was amazing.
- Stayed July 2015, traveled with friends
8 of us stayed here for 3 nights.
Super affordable. Beds firm but as we learnt later on on our travels they can get much harder in Vietnam.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Check in and out very easy.
Rooms clean, great shower, complimentary water and aircon!
Staying in the old quarter meant it was easy walking to main part of Hanoi as well as beer drinking district.
My cousin and I went to a massage business staffed by people with vision impairment (run by CROP). We walked around this area which was way out of the tourist district. We were the only foreigners walking the back streets. Found great places to eat/drink and even found a local spa for a 150,000 Dong 75min massage.
Breakfast was great. No cereal. But can order off a small menu as well as roast, rice, etc.
Stay here at Hanoi Chic if you need something that ticks the boxes but without super luxuries or the prices.
